Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how sparkposter.com ("SparkPoster", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service. By using SparkPoster, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address to authenticate your identity and manage your account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and display name from Google.

Usage data. We collect analytics data such as page views, feature usage, and session activity to understand how visitors use SparkPoster and to improve the service. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Uploaded images. If you upload a background image to use in your designs, that file is temporarily stored on our servers to process your request. Uploaded images are not used for any other purpose.

Billing information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Creem. We do not store your credit card details. We receive only the information necessary to confirm your subscription status (e.g., plan type and renewal date).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your account and keep it secure
  • Deliver the SparkPoster service, including image generation and quota management
  • Send transactional emails such as sign-in codes and account notifications
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing through Creem
  • Analyze usage patterns to improve performance, features, and content
  • Respond to support requests and communications

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell your personal information to any third party.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

SparkPoster uses cookies and local storage for session management (to keep you signed in) and for analytics. Analytics cookies help us understand overall usage patterns without tracking you individually. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features — including staying signed in — require cookies to function.

4. Third-Party Services

We work with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Cloudflare — infrastructure, CDN, and DDoS protection
  • Creem — subscription billing and payment processing
  • Google — optional Google OAuth sign-in
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (sign-in codes and notifications)

These services may process limited personal data (such as your IP address or email) as part of their normal operation. We carefully select partners who maintain strong data protection standards.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Uploaded background images are stored temporarily and automatically deleted after processing. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to restrict how we process it. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Children's Privacy

SparkPoster is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of SparkPoster after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
